Small and quaint, this restaurant, which specializes in Italian cuisine, is considered by some the best dining choice in the city. Located near the Cathedral de St. Pierre, La Favola specializes in entrées from Tuscany. Menu choices include vitello tonnato, thin sliced veal with tuna sauce, and tortellini filled with ricotta and served in an au jus made with herbs and red wine. The restaurant is family owned, and the food is as authentic as it comes. La Favola has two dining rooms and seats about 35 diners, so reservations are recommended, especially on weekends.
